A Little About Me.

I was born in Millville, New Jersey to Maurice Sr & Betty (Bush) Castellini but was raised in Vineland, New Jersey graduating from Vineland High School in the late 60's.  I have always been a "frustrated" artistic person and had never really found a niche for the expression of these latent talents.  I had owned & operated a ceramic shop until I married and moved to Colorado with my husband David.  I had then "discovered" the world of Tole Painting and continued with that craft for a while.

I was introduced to photography as a new bride with a husband who enjoyed this medium.  I always was the "lucky one" to carry the equipment to wherever so it was handy for him not to have to backtrack to get whatever he needed.  I was intrigued with what he could produce.  My interest has grown immensely since that summer so many years ago.  I enjoy going to various places to see what we can find.

I have competed in the Ocean City Arts Center's Juried Photography Exhibition  since 2009 and have been honored to be accepted for every year that I entered.  I have belonged to the Stay Focused Photo Club, the Photography Club of Cape May County and even the Photographic Society of Vineland.  I have learned much along the way from all of the great photographers I have met along the way.  Even after all those memberships I still am learning and continue to learn from both David, my husband and our oldest son Mike (Wind Shadow) Woeller.

After a cumulative career of 40 years in the workforce throughout the Cumberland County area, I am now retired and enjoy doing quite a few different art mediums from knitting, quilting but most especially Photography as I enjoy going out to shoot with my best friend, and husband, Dave.  Both he and our son Michael, have been inspirations on what can be accomplished. I am still a work in progress but still eager to learn whatever I can.

Thanks for stopping by my little gallery.
